Oh, that was YOU! I like the looks of that soft tray - we have a Taby but I think it's a hazard since it's hard and could rocket around in a crash. The soft factor is key. I am so excited for the swap and have to figure out our traveling companion asap!
Great ideas over there. I have also heard of people doing magnet boards like how you talked about (using the felt) and printing photos on the magnetic paper...
mamabird- I worried about the hard trays myself. The only drawback to this tray is that it doesn't have a drink holder in the tray, just on the side pocket.
megandmag- I love the photo magnet idea. I've even heard of making a house with doors and windows to place all of your photos in. Don't forget the pet pics! I thoght that's be a fun one for a cookie sheet, or a metal lunch box. You could draw the house on the inside of the lunchbox or on the cookie sheet. I've used vis a vis markers on cookie sheets, so you can wash it off.
