I originally bought this book after re-reading Jim Trelease's Read-Aloud Handbook, looking for good books for babies. It definitely has a little of everything in it - foods, colors, shapes, letters, feelings, numbers etc. I wasn't a big fan of the artwork, but Fischer really liked it and still does. He also likes Fleming's Barnyard Banter.
