Guess who has a new pair of roller skates?

Andy bought Fischer skates, knee pads, elbow, pads... the works! Fisch is SO excited. He has been "skating" (looks like baby-step marching) all afternoon and evening. He loved the gear so much he wanted to wear it for dinner!

Yes, his high chair is in the family room for dinner! Andy and I are eating at the coffee table and watching TV - shame on us! I'm sure this is not what is meant when people talk about the "family table"! Whatever, AND Fisch is eating nachos for dinner!

Wow! that looks exactly like our dinner table too! I always scold myself when we have dinner away from the table but sometimes it's just so much easier. And the skates. You are so much braver than I am.

MMMMMM Nachos, just what we had for dinner ,and I'm not kidding!

Love the rollerskates, and especially all of the protective gear. I'm so glad you are already teaching fischer about safety even at his young age!

YESSSS! Skates ! Before you know it you will be having couple skates in your living room with all the neighborhood kids. Booker was really impressed with Fischer's bunny shirt. He approves.

Nice work. About time you got that kid on skates of some form....now combine his newly found skating skillz with his skillz with the hockey stick and we are halfway home...

Tell Fischer and Andy, Michael says "way to go!"

Jenny and Liz - glad we're not the only ones!

Jess - You can't keep calling Booker a HE if he is indeed a SHE!

Mike - Fischer is rapidly gaining mad skills with the stick and the skates, add that to his intense begging and pleading for the Stanley Cup.... and well ... talk about the next rising star! (I was totally going to say the next "great one" but Andy told me that name is SACRED!

Hi can live at your house. Matt never lets me wear my skates and pads to the table. I had a cheese quesadilla. So healthy and nutritious.

I am starting to re-think the whole idea of Avery and Fischer getting married when they are older. I know I said they shouldn't due to their paleness but now I'm thinking that since Fischer is going to be a rich, famous hockey player, who cares that their kids will be transluscent. Yeah, I'm that vain.
